Heritage Park / Santa Fe Park
Museum (Sealy, Texas): Artifacts are abound from the
early days when San Felipe de Austin was the Colonial Capital of
Texas. While there be sure to visit the Sealy Jail,
Hackbarth House (circa 1880), and several retired rail
cars. Heritage Park is located at the corner of Main
Street and Silliman, Sealy, TX 77474 and is open the
fourth Friday of the month between the hours of 10AM - 3PM and

Lindemann Store Museum (Industry,
Texas): The Lindemann Store remained in business for
nearly two centuries. Throughout the museum there are
displays with items which would have been sold in the store,
during the early days of Austin County. Open the fourth
Friday of the month between the hours of 10AM - 3PM. For

Stephen F. Austin State Park
(San Felipe, Texas): The recently restored J.J. Josey
Store (circa 1847) now houses artifacts from the earliest
days of Colonial Texas. In addition the many monuments and
historical markers placed throughout the park, there is an
extraordinary statue of Stephen F. Austin, who originally
settled Colonial Texas. The Park is located on FM 1458,

The Jail Museum (Bellville,
Texas): Originally constructed circa 1896, it was
placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
The Jail Museum is located at 36 S. Bell Street, Bellville, TX
77418 and is open Saturday from 11AM - 3PM. For more
